Paper Seed Pot Press
- No more plastic - create Eco-pots for seeds/seedlings
- Innovative design Handmade in Britain
- Made from sustainable naturally grown beech wood
- Save money whilst reducing plastic waste
A great way to remove plastic from seed growing altogether! Use the press to form and crimp strips of newspaper into Eco-pots.
When seedlings are ready to plahnt out simply make a large enough hole and pop the whole eco-pot and seedling in the ground.
Plahnting out in this way avoids disturbing the seedlings roots, and the newspaper will bio-degrade in moist soil as the plant grows.
A great way to help reduce plastic waste and save money.
Beautifully made from solid natural oak in rural Shropshire, England by artisan craftsmen.
Dimensions: 14 x 8 x 8cm
Weight: 175g
Instructions:
- Tear a strip of newspaper 16cm wide and approx 40cm long.
- Fold the strip in half along the length
- Roll the strip around the press with the folded edge at the top of the cylinder (paper will overhang the bottom of the press)
- Holding the rolled paper, scrunch the bottom edge and tuck it inwards under the press
- Align with the base of the press. Push down firmly with a twist to crimp the paper pot base. Slide the pot off the press and there you have one Eco-Pot!
